Dalpamon, led by CEO Simon Park, serves small and medium-sized businesses and operates PartsClub, an AI platform that provides infrastructure for auto parts distribution.

Drawing on six years of experience in the auto parts industry, Simon Park began building a service combining technology and auto parts. He went on to develop PartsClub as he began offering the service to other distributors.

◇ Auto parts quotes within 30 seconds

When auto parts distributors receive a quote request from a mechanic or repair shop, they need to identify the vehicle, find the required parts, check inventory and look up prices. Simon Park said that because one person can handle only so many quotes, distributors previously had to add sales staff to increase revenue.

PartsClub automates or partially automates vehicle and part identification and checks of inventory and pricing information. Simon Park said it reduces the entire process to within 30 seconds, allowing sales staff to produce more quotes faster.

◇ Adding staff through the Global Startup Commercialization Support Program

Dalpamon is participating in the Global Startup Commercialization Support Program.

Simon Park said the program allowed the company to hire more people, including specialists familiar with the auto parts industry.

The additional staff also affected the pace of product development. “We were able to add staff and develop the actual product much faster,” Simon Park said.

He said four distributors currently use PartsClub for daily quoting, producing more quotes with AI agents.

◇ Targeting half of South Korea’s distributors, with plans for other B2B industries

Simon Park aims to make PartsClub the standard operating engine used by at least 50% of South Korea’s auto parts distributors.

As more distributors join the platform, the volume of data exchanged will grow. The company plans to use that data to improve its AI agents so repair shops can receive quotes faster and distributors can produce them more quickly and accurately.

It later plans to expand beyond auto parts into other business-to-business industries, including fashion and beauty.

“I want to help businesses beyond auto parts distribution integrate operating engines and AI agents into their operations,” Simon Park said. “Our goal is to become a core provider of AI transformation services.”
