– AI communications services for businesses and foreign nationals include Voice AI, real-time interpretation and call transcription
– Global Startup Center provides commercialization support, workspace and expert advice as the company seeks to expand in South Korea
Mednaath, led by CEO Nitish Kumar, is developing AI services to reduce language barriers in phone and video calls. Nitish developed the real-time AI interpretation service after experiencing the communication difficulties faced by both foreign nationals and Koreans during his seven years in South Korea.

◇ Real-time interpretation for phone and video calls in 150 languages
Mednaath offers three services: Voice AI, real-time interpretation and call transcription. Voice AI enables businesses to use AI to handle inbound and outbound calls and respond to customers.
The real-time interpretation service interprets conversations between people speaking different languages on phone and video calls. It currently supports 150 languages in 105 countries. The call transcription feature also allows businesses to review customer call transcripts, summaries and details.
Nitish said the system works with existing software, without additional hardware, and can be deployed in about five minutes.
◇ Commercialization and relocation support through the Global Startup Center
Mednaath is participating in the Global Startup Commercialization Support Program, receiving support to commercialize its services and establish itself in South Korea.
Nitish said the Global Startup Center, operated by the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED), offers foreign founders support to commercialize their products, opportunities to access grants and capital, and workspace. He also noted that labor specialists and lawyers are available to help.
“It is a great help for foreign founders settling in a new country,” Nitish said, expressing his gratitude for the support.

◇ Targeting government agencies, banks and businesses, with global markets as a long-term goal
Mednaath’s short-term goal is to provide services to government agencies, banks and businesses in South Korea. It aims to help foreign residents and tourists avoid difficulties caused by language barriers.
Over the longer term, it plans to expand the service to more countries.
“We currently support 150 languages,” Nitish said. “I hope that in the near future, language barriers will disappear and people who speak different languages will be able to communicate freely.”
