– Integrates with tools such as Slack and Jira to show internal work progress in real time
– Global Startup Commercialization Support Program supports developer recruitment and monthly consulting as Nissi seeks to enter South Korea

Nissi, led by Japanese CEO Sayaka Okada, is developing a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that gives companies visibility into their organizational operations and how work is being carried out.

While running a previous startup, Okada found that even when fundraising and recruitment were going well, growth made it harder for the CEO and other senior executives to see how work was actually progressing inside the organization. That experience led Okada to establish Nissi to provide a more detailed view of organizational operations.

◇ Integrating Slack and Jira, with AI analysis of how employees work

Nissi’s main solution, GOI (Golden Operation Index), is a dashboard platform that connects with tools companies already use, such as Slack and Jira, to show how teams and individual employees actually carry out their work. It focuses on providing a real-time view of internal execution that becomes harder for management to monitor directly as an organization grows.

Okada said the platform differs from existing human resources tools because its AI learns from both employees’ past work patterns and their output. It uses that information to account for each employee’s work style and predict the results they might produce when assigned a particular task.

◇ Developer recruitment and mentoring through the Global Startup Commercialization Support Program

Nissi is participating in the Global Startup Commercialization Support Program as it develops its product and works to enter South Korea.

Okada said recruitment and marketing costs were a considerable burden for an early-stage startup yet to raise investment, but the program enabled it to hire development staff directly. With development staff in place for the first time, the company was able to move ahead with product development.

The company also receives monthly consulting to review its progress and mentoring on future plans. Okada said advice on how to approach fundraising and sales in South Korea is particularly useful because many team members are from overseas and are unfamiliar with the market.

◇ Establishing a position in South Korea’s HR SaaS market before expanding overseas

Nissi’s initial goal is to enter South Korea’s human resources SaaS market, improve its product and achieve results. It then plans to expand overseas after refining the product in South Korea.
