– Developing AIDR to empower security teams to stop chasing security alerts and start calling the shots

– Trusted by LocknLock, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD한국조선해양) and 25 HD Hyundai affiliates; reseller channel partnerships with SECUI (Samsung Group) and Feelanet… Expanding domestic references

CipherData is developing AIDR (AI-Native Detection and Response) platform, an AI-powered security platform that analyzes various alerts generated in enterprise security environments, identifies actual threats, and supports investigation and response.

AIDR is a unified platform that delivers continuous risk reduction via SIEM-less detection with closed-loop autonomous response. Unlike legacy SOC tools that bolt AI-powered copilots onto outdated architecture, AIDR redefines the entire legacy SOC workflow, augmenting the existing security teams — autonomously investigating every single alert within 5 minutes, providing 24/7 coverage at the cost of a single analyst.

AIDR is already trusted by leading Korean enterprises. CipherData secured LocknLock as its first enterprise customer, and AIDR is now deployed at the security center of HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE), where it protects HD KSOE(HD한국조선해양) and its 25 HD Hyundai affiliates. The company has also established value-added reseller (VAR) partnerships with SECUI, a Samsung Group affiliate, and Feelanet. Building on these customers and partnerships, CipherData plans to expand the adoption of AIDR among Korean enterprises and security service providers.

◇ Advancing Its Product in Korea Through the Global Startup Commercialization Support Program

CipherData is participating in the Global Startup Commercialization Support Program as it advances AIDR to meet the security environments of Korean enterprises and expands its domestic customer base.

The Global Startup Commercialization Support Program is a program that supports promising overseas startup teams in commercializing and establishing themselves in Korea so that they can enhance their products and services and validate the market. Through the Global Startup Center, the program also provides support needed for the Korean market, including domestic business operations and recruitment, investment consultations, and partner connections.

Through the program, CipherData is strengthening its workforce infrastructure to continue its business in Korea. By utilizing personnel cost support, the company aims to reduce the burden of operating the workforce needed for product development and customer support in the Korean market, while continuing to develop AIDR for Korean enterprise environments.

Specifically, the company is working on applying a Korean-language UI/UX, addressing the requirements of the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), optimizing AIDR for domestic cloud environments, and integrating it with Korean security solutions. A private cloud deployment option that takes data storage requirements into consideration is also included in its development plans.

◇ Expanding Enterprise Use Cases in Korea and Moving into Overseas Markets

CipherData plans to focus on expanding PoCs and partnerships with enterprise customers in Korea and securing real-world use cases for AIDR in enterprise security environments. Starting with LocknLock and HD KSOE, the company aims to increase its domestic enterprise references and strengthen the foundation for commercialization.

Going forward, the company plans to expand into overseas markets, including the United States, based on the customer experience and references accumulated in Korea. In the long term, it also plans to enter Southeast Asian and European markets through security service partner channels.
