Biplob Dev of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura has resigned as chief minister. On Saturday, he submitted his resignation letter to state governor Satyadeva Narayan.

Meanwhile, after his resignation, Biplob Dev said that the party wants to increase the strength of the organization before the 2023 elections. In order to stay in government for a long time, it is necessary to increase the strength of the organization. Only if there is an organization will there be a government. So the team wants to use me in the organization.

“I have been working under the guidance of the Prime Minister for so long,” he said. I have tried to establish justice in Tripura. This time I will work for the organization with the will of the central leadership.

On the other hand, Indian media NDTV reported that an hour after the resignation of Biplob Deb, Dr. BJP appointed Manik Saha. He is a dentist by profession. He became a member of the Rajya Sabha in last month’s election. He is also the President of Tripura State BJP.

Incidentally, the BJP central leadership sent Biplob to Delhi last Friday. While there, he first met BJP President JP Nadda and later Union Home Minister Amit Shah. In both these meetings, the top leadership instructed him to resign and work for the party. So Biplob resigned 10 months before the vote. The political rise of the revolution from gym trainer to becoming the Chief Minister of Tripura is at a meteoric pace. In 2016, under his leadership, the BJP ended two and a half decades of left rule in Tripura.

Modi-Shahra chose Biplob as the Chief Minister of Tripura at that time by removing him from the post of President as an organizational achievement. But the BJP’s top leadership was not satisfied with his tenure as chief minister. A number of MLAs, including Sudip Roy Varman, have left the party and joined the Congress due to clashes with him. Therefore, the sudden resignation of the revolution is not a political event.

Earlier, in Gujarat and Uttarakhand, the BJP had changed the chief minister before the expiration of his term and the resigned chief ministers had been given organizational responsibilities. This time revolution can be the pioneer of that path.
