Check Out The Most Beautiful JDM Sports Cars Under $10,000.

Japanese automakers introduced something new to the automotive world: sports cars that were just as reliable as the Land of the Rising Sun’s standard family cars. There are many low-cost Japanese sports cars available for automotive enthusiasts at JDM Sport Classics. Who would rather drive their cars than spend 80% of their time wrenching them?

Although there are some reasonably priced new sports cars, anyone willing to spend some time scouring the web will find some serious bargains – and that’s before even talking to the seller, where it’s always possible to save another couple of hundred dollars.

Do you want to know what Japanese sports cars are on the market? Here are a few of the nicer ones you can get for under $10,000 today – and some of them have already begun to appreciate.

Honda Del Sol

The Del Sol was an actual 1990s sports car based on the Honda Civic. It featured small 1.5-liter and 1.6-liter engines that drove the front wheels. It had a Targa top and a retractable rear window that could be powered electrically. It’s a fun car to drive, with precise handling, excellent braking, and enough strength to attack curves on winding roads. Because of its Civic tradition, aftermarket parts are abundant.

 Toyota Supra

Even the non-turbo versions of the 4th generation Supra are out of reach. Older Supras, such as the 3rd generation models, can still be had for a fair price. Turbo models are also available for about ten thousand dollars.

Toyota’s Supra combines reliability with supercar results. They’re great tourers in stock form, but there are plenty of aftermarket options if you want a reliable cruise missile.

Mazda RX7

If you want the stunning third-generation twin-turbo RX-7, your budget would almost certainly have to be tripled. The first two generations, on the other hand, are available for under $10,000. The rotary engine can be difficult to maintain, but once you’re out on the open road and floor the throttle, you won’t notice.

Datsun

You can get an old 240Z that needs a lot of repair or a surprisingly good 280ZX for $10,000. Both are fantastic cars to drive if you like old-school rear-wheel-drive performance cars. After all, the 280ZX was named Import Car of the Year by Motor Trend in 1979.

Simply sit back and watch its value skyrocket once it’s been restored.

Mazda RX8

The Wankel rotary engine in the RX-8 has some issues. As opposed to the need for regular rebuilds, the oil thirst doesn’t seem like such a big deal, which is a shame because the 231 hp 1.3-liter is an amazing power plant. The RX8 is stunning to look at, thrilling to drive, and even very functional – just make sure you find one in excellent condition.

Nissan 300ZX Now is the best time to purchase one of these 90s classics. Unfortunately, $10,000 is insufficient to purchase the 300 horsepower turbo version. Although the regular 3.0-liter V6 engine produces only 222 horsepower, it provides plenty of backroad cruising fun.

The car handles beautifully, and the swoopy interior provides plenty of room in the front, making it an excellent grand tourer.

Nissan 370Z

The Nissan 350Z was revamped in 2009, and the name was changed to 370Z. The 370Z never achieved the same level of success as the 350Z, but it has spent the last decade establishing itself as a rugged, dependable sports coupe. However, you’ll have to put up with a 26.6 mpg highway fuel economy that drops to 20 mpg in town, as well as servicing every 9,000 miles to keep it in good shape.

Honda S2000 is a sports car manufactured by Honda.

While all S2000s appear to be the same, Honda made improvements over the course of the 10-year production period, resulting in three distinct models known as the AP1, AP2, and CR. The majority of cars selling for $10,000 would be AP1 models. That’s the most popular, with an all-aluminum 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 240 horsepower at 8300 rpm and revving to nine grand.

Mitsubishi Eclipse is a car manufactured by Mitsubishi.

The 1999 Eclipse GS is the final year of the second generation, which is arguably the most attractive and capable of all.

These cars can now be purchased for next to nothing, leaving you with plenty of funds to upgrade them. Since the Mitsubishi Eclipse is one of the most common Japanese cars to change, there are plenty of parts available.

Miata Mazda MX5

The Mazda MX5 is not only the world’s best-selling two-seat sports car, but it’s also a common option among racers.

Mazda says that on any given weekend, there are more Miatas racing than any other vehicle. With its rear-wheel drive, lively handling, rev-happy engines, and lovely manual gearboxes, the little Mazda is a cool toy for those who call it a hairdresser’s vehicle.
