Themoviesflix | A detailed review of Sanzaru

230

The slow pace of the film may put off some viewers, but the creepy moments are often embedded in the plot and create a dark atmosphere. By the end of the film, a mystery is revealed that casts a disturbing shadow over the rest of the story and is satisfyingly understated. “Sanzaru” tells the story of Evelyn (Aina Dumlao), themoviesflix a maid who helps care for an elderly woman with dementia, Dina (Jane Tiny).

Evelyn struggling with her own mental

Dyn often shows a sharp mind when she helps Evelyn solve crossword puzzles, but sometimes she throws in remarks that have disturbing consequences: “She’s in me. I can feel them.” However, the film is not about Dyn, but about Evelyn struggling with her own mental health and helping Dyn through her mental and physical decline.

Romantic developments follow

Unfortunately, the moments in which we see Evelyn questioning her mental state are not specific enough to be identified with certainty, and they are so infrequent that whatever amazing tone the film hoped to maintain is lost almost as soon as they occur. This is the case for at least the first two-thirds of the film when most of the plot consists of Evelina’s family drama, laundry, and romantic courtship out of nowhere.

The characters are particularly inspiring

From time to time she hears a voice on the intercom that seems to come from Dina’s room. The voice speaks in Evelyn’s native language and addresses a man called “Mr. Sanzarou.” Since there is no information about Sanzarou, the viewer gets the feeling that the film themoviesflix is a mystery, but none of the characters seem particularly interested in solving it.

Create truly stunning scenes

This gives the story a rambling feel that does not contribute to an exciting experience. The music and camera movements help create really scary scenes, but the fact is that the audience may not know exactly what to be afraid of!

Suitable for psychological thrillers

The film is undoubtedly well-edited, and the rarely used soundtrack and extended footage highlight shocking moments that may not have been highlighted in the script. I liked the minimalism of this film on themoviesflix, which is appropriate for a psychological thriller.

Minor Mistakes

Small mistakes – the death of a pet, spilled milk – change Evelyn’s world. A letter addressed to Mr. Sanzar shows up in the family mail, and Evelyn begins to investigate the “mistake,” though the plot doesn’t focus on any of the characters’ obsessions.

Uneven character development

Like everything else in this film, the inner world we expect to see in a character is hopelessly subtle, sometimes to the point of outrageous. The uneven character development is perhaps the film’s biggest flaw. Given the length of the film (87 minutes) and its format (a slow-paced psychological thriller), a clearer focus on Eveyln could have given more substance to a plot that feels pointless at worst.

You feel as if you’ve been degraded

Instead, it’s hard to read and the story is almost completely unfamiliar. When information about the main characters, Evelyn and Dina Klem’s (Justin Arnold) son, finally appears, it’s more of a digression than a revelation themoviesflix.

A success story from the past

The film’s premise – a housewife questions her own mental health – requires that the story be character-driven. If that was the goal, it was not achieved themoviesflix. Fortunately, a psychological thriller with a protagonist was not the film’s only goal. Above all, it is a successful ghost story.

The supernatural clues work well

Throughout the film, we hear a female voice talking to Mr Sanzar, and sometimes we see a figure with red lights walking around the house. These scenes are my favorite parts of the film, the effects are minimal and stylish. There is a lack of scares throughout the film, and the subtle touch of the supernatural works well.

The result is a suitably chilling effect

Also, the mystery at the center of the story – who is Mr Sanzaru? – is interestingly developed in the constant conversation between the ghosts and the interactions between Evelyn and Clem. The result is a film that, although slow-moving, is appropriately chilling.

The right music composition for a short film

“Sanzaru is not without its flaws (mainly missed opportunities for character development). But it is a worthy addition to the best of the horror film genre. I was impressed by the composition of the shots and the music. Which is very appropriate to the style of the film on katmoviehd. The music created a tension that could not have been achieved in any other way.

Unique vision and style

This film is Shamnagash’s directorial debut and I think it has a unique vision and style. It is always refreshing to see a horror film that doesn’t knock you out but makes you dream. This film is one of them.
