The team could not chase only 144 runs. They had to lose by a big margin of 72 runs. Reaching the play-offs, the last four have not been confirmed yet. Lucknow Super Giants captain Lokesh Rahul disappointed after the loss to Gujarat Titans. He said that they have to learn to win against tough opponents.

At the end of the match, Rahul said, “The wicket was not very easy. In the last 2-3 matches we have seen such a pitch in this field. We knew it would not be easy to bat even if the target was low. We played very well. But I could not bat well. We have to learn to win from bad situations against tough opponents. It will not work if the match is lost.

Rahul also told why they lost. “We should have batted better,” he said. Some shots played very badly. Bad runout. We had to use our power-play. We tried. But their bowlers bowled well. So the beginning was not good. We could not tie the knot. There is still a lot to learn. Only then will I be able to play well in the next match. “
