Introduction to Neville Goddard and his teachings

Neville Goddard was a spiritual teacher and author who taught the power of the mind and the concept of the Law of Assumption. He was born in Barbados in 1905 and moved to the United States in 1922. He became interested in metaphysics and spirituality in the 1930s and began teaching his ideas to small groups in New York City. His teachings were based on the belief that our thoughts and opinions shape our reality and that we can change our reality by changing our thoughts and beliefs.

Neville Goddard’s teachings are based on the concept of the Law of Assumption. This law states that whatever we assume to be true will be reflected in our reality. In other words, if we assume that we are poor and powerless, we will experience poverty and powerlessness. But if we assume that we are wealthy and powerful, we will share wealth and power.

Understanding the Law of Assumption

Gesetz der Annahme is based on the idea that our beliefs and assumptions create our reality. According to Neville Goddard, we constantly develop our reality through our thoughts and beliefs. Our thoughts and beliefs are like seeds we plant in our mind’s garden. These seeds will eventually grow into the reality that we experience.

The Law of Assumption states that we should always assume the reality that we want to experience. We should assume that we already have what we want, and that it is already a part of our reality. This means that we should not focus on what we don’t want, but instead focus on what we do want. If we focus on what we don’t want, we will only attract more of it into our reality.

How to use the Law of Assumption

To use the Law of Assumption, we need to first identify what we want to experience in our reality. This can be anything, such as wealth, health, happiness, or success. Once we have identified what we want, we should start assuming that it is already a part of our reality.

We can do this by visualizing the reality that we want to experience. We should imagine ourselves already living in that reality, and feeling the emotions that come with it. For example, if we want to experience wealth, we should imagine ourselves already having the wealth that we desire. We should feel the emotions that come with being wealthy, such as happiness, security, and freedom.

We should also use affirmations to reinforce our beliefs and assumptions. An affirmation is a positive statement that we repeat to ourselves, such as “I am wealthy and abundant” or “I am healthy and vibrant”. By repeating these affirmations, we can start to reprogram our subconscious mind and reinforce our beliefs and assumptions.

The power of the Law of Assumption

The Law of Assumption is a powerful tool that can help us to create the reality that we want. By assuming that we already have what we want, we can start to attract it into our reality. Our thoughts and beliefs are like a magnet that attracts similar experiences into our life.

Neville Goddard believed that we are all creators of our own reality, and that we have the power to change our reality by changing our thoughts and beliefs. By using the Law of Assumption, we can start to create the reality that we want and experience more joy, abundance, and success in our life.
