Ophena A is a regular safety stirrup without a magnetic connection, but it features a release system that utilizes technology never seen before: patent-pending 360° double safety release technology.
The outer side is closed by a silicone piece that has been anchored to the stirrup by two anchor points. Although The Twister sounds simple, it has a complex, highly functional geometry. Anchor-like ends that perfectly match their aluminum counterpart.
Also, Ophena has added integrated dampening to this stirrup model. Right below the tread, there is a cushioning element that provides comfort for the rider’s knees and ankles. Furthermore, the entire stirrup flexes to absorb harder impacts, making it also an excellent choice for showjumping.
