EU sanctions on Russian oil are due at the end of this year

Meanwhile, in response to Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, the EU is preparing to impose sanctions on Moscow for the sixth time. Moscow has called the operation a “special military operation.” Qatar-based Al-Jazeera reported the news on Sunday.
Russian oil, Russian and Belarusian banks are also expected to be included in the sixth round of EU sanctions. In addition, individuals and companies from both countries will be subject to the ban.
The European Commission is coordinating the EU’s response to the attack in Ukraine. The talks between the EU and several EU countries have been described as “confessional”. In addition, a meeting of EU ambassadors in Brussels on Wednesday will discuss tougher sanctions on Russia.
