Ashani’s speed may increase to 115 kmph on Monday

Hurricane Ashani is getting stronger and stronger. According to the Alipore Meteorological Department of India, it will cross the East-Central Bay of Bengal and flow towards West-Central Bay of Bengal in the next 12 hours.

Thunderstorms will turn into strong cyclones in the West-Central Bay of Bengal. It will head north-west towards the coasts of Andhra Pradesh and Orissa till next Tuesday (May 10).

Ashani will change course as it reaches near the coasts of northern Andhra and southern Orissa. Then it will move from north-west to north and northeast.

Cyclone Ashani will gradually enter the North West Bay of Bengal. It will run along the coast of Orissa. If a cyclone is formed, the speed of the thunderstorm on Sunday (May 7) may be a maximum of 60-70 kilometers per hour. However, it may increase to 110 kilometers.

Tomorrow, Monday (May 9), the speed of the storm may increase to 105-115 km per hour. Special warnings have already been issued in Orissa, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal.
