Apple Cake for Diabetics

Many people with diabetes love pies and other sweet desserts. It’s no surprise that everyone loves a good pie, especially during the Christmas season. However, making cakes and other sweet treats for diabetics depends on the ingredients. Below is a recipe for a delicious fruit cake for diabetics, a so-called very simple apple cake.

Very Simple Apple Cake

  • 7 cups of peeled and sliced apples.
  • Butter … 1 tablespoon.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • ¾ cup of granulated Splenda

First, preheat the oven to 450°F. Divide the batter into a saucepan and mix the apples, cinnamon, and Splenda until the apples are completely covered.

Then pour the dough into a pie pan, butter it, and line it with another baking sheet so that a pattern is formed around the edges. Using a fork or your fingers, make small holes in the dough so that steam can escape.

Bake this cake at about 450°C for at least 50 minutes or until the crust is golden and the apples are tender. Simply poke a popsicle stick through the steam holes to see if the apple cake is ready. A dinner cake like this is especially good for diabetics.

If you like to bake, or not, you can find a diabetic bakery in your town.
